Total Gym Workout Routine

The Total Gym Workout Routine. You've probably heard about it since it's endorsed by many celebrities. But is it right for you?

That's what we intended to find out. I purchased the Total Gym 2000 for $599.40 (comes with a good payment plan and a 30-day trial period, which means you pay $49.95 up front, and if you don't like it you can return it for a full refund). It also came with a DVD called "Start it Up!" which is fairly easy to follow, and is probably most useful to beginners. I don't think those who know how to exercise already really need the DVD.

So, about the actual product. Well, the first thing I liked is it comes fully assembled. You just pull it out of the box and you're good to go. I hate setting things up, so that works for me!

Total Gym Workout Routine Another thing I liked is it's about the size of an ironing board and can fold up flat, so it fits easily into my closet. I already have too much equipment and clutter -- I didn't want any more.

I'm asked a lot about quick workouts, for the person on the go. Now, I'm not a huge fan of that, but I understand it, and hey, a quick workout is better than no workout... So, with the Total Gym Workout Routine, you can do several different types of workouts that will give you a good little workout in just 10-20 minutes a day.

Another note on the quickness scale, with Total Gym, you're able to target all major fitness areas with just one workout: resistance training, cardio training and stretching. Again, I prefer doing them individually, but that doesn't mean doing it at once isn't effective.

As for variety, which is important so you don't get bored, the Total Gym has over 80 exercises, so you can constantly do something different. This is the main reason I'm recommending it. As a trainer, I understand how important it is to mix things up, not just for the boredom issue, but your muscles don't respond as well after a while if you keep doing the same things over and over. Not enough people realize how important variety is.

They say that the Total Gym Workout Routine can mimic any exercise from the gym. I don't know if I'd go that far, but I'm not going to quibble. It replicates most of them, and especially ones I'd be recommending to teens and/or beginners.

So, in summation, I bought the Total Gym Workout Routine, and I think it's a good product. If I had my druthers, I'd get you all to go to a gym and work with a trainer, but that's not going to work for all of you. But I definitely want you to exercise, and the Total Gym will get you where you need to be.
