Here, we're going yo give you several tips that if followed, will increase your confidence and improve your self esteem. 1. Change for the better - Make that decision that you always wanted. To do that, you'll need to take take action and stop procrastinating. You'll find once you get the ball rolling, your focus on the task at hand will improve, and you will start to see the pieces fall together. 2. Figure out what is important in your life - Write down the things you would like to achieve and then come up with a time line for achieving them. Setting dates for your goals is one of the best ways to motivate yourself towards success. 3. Set realistic targets - Don't be unrealistic when it comes to change. It's important to set targets that you can actually reach. This is no longer a dream, but a reality. 4. Find a role model or mentor - Lots of people like to help others. If it's a role model you seek, it's always a good idea to measure yourself up to someone that you really admire. Study why they are successful, and while you don't want to copy everything, you can use their path as a guide. Don't automatically choose a celebrity to model yourself after. They ultimately aren't as relatable as people you may already know, or have met. Which is where a mentor comes in. Getting good advice from someone you admire can be a great confidence and self-esteem boost. If they're taking the time to mentor you, then they believe in you and care about your success. 5. Visualize - See yourself as being successful. Too many people grasp onto negative thoughts and end up talking themselves out of doing anything, before they even try. So, take a moment and just focus on the positive. Imagine what that would feel like. Then stay positive as you work towards that success. 6. Associate yourself with positive people - Or at the very least avoid those who are always negative. If it's family members or close friends who are always negative, then tell them that they're not helping you being that way. It's okay for others to give realistic opinions about you, but it shouldn't always be negative.
