How to get a flat stomach? Wow, you think that question's been asked before. Having a fit looking tummy is something a lot of you out there desire. So, what does it take? For starters, working on a number of different levels. It's not enough to simply do stomach strengthening exercises. These can increase the size of your abs, but it doesn't address the most important factor that determines how your belly looks and feels: your abdominal fat. So, to get a flat tight stomach you need to burn off excess stomach fat as well as work on stomach strengthening workouts. But burning belly fat has to come first, because if there's a layer of fat covering your ab muscles, they will never see the light of day. And so how do you start losing belly fat? By doing the right kind of workouts and following a healthy and fat burning nutrition routine. What else do you need to do to start burning stomach fat? Simply put, you need to make working out a part of your daily routine. A good goal to aim for is three times a week for an hour. It will also help if you try to be active for thirty minutes each day, as that gets your body into a fat burning routine. So, take a walk, or ride a bike, but don't spend all evening on the couch. What about food? Well, let's face it, the fat didn't get on your stomach by itself. Your eating habits helped put it there. Not enough people realize how important eating right is when thinking about their fitness routines. In other words, you could work out extremely hard often, but if you eat poorly, you're not going to see the results you probably thought you should be seeing. So, how can you eat right? Give up junk (and fast) food for starters. Also, turn away from pre-made dishes. Fresh home-cooked meals are the way to go. And definitely stay away from fattening snacks and candy... If you work out regularly, though, you don't have to go cold turkey on all the things you love to eat. Moderation is the key! Make moderation part of your daily routine.
