Ashley Blog March AprilCLICK HERE TO READ THE MOST CURRENT BLOG ENTRY 3/04/2009 Wow, I've had a really busy week! I had a photo shoot on Sunday which really turned out awesome. I learned so much from the photographer. It opened up so much more into my imagination. On Thurday I have an audition for a commercial for Kelloggs. It has to do with tennis. I'm excited, although I haven't played tennis since waterpolo season started ... so the last two days I've picked up my racket and balls and headed to the tennis courts to practice. I'm a little rusty. I have been really practicing on my vocals hard for the last two weeks. I'm submitting some music to be considered as a vocalist with another singer. And in between all of that I have been mostly hitting my Pilates classes. Like I said, a very busy week for me. I'll let you all know how the audition went -- and my music as well, which I'll blog about more later. See ya! 3/14/2009 Ok, well I haven't heard back from the Kelloggs audition, my guess is I didn't get it. But I went on another audition this past Thursday for another commercial -- and I got a call back so hopefully they will like me enough for me to get it. I would really love the experience. I'm not going to disclose what it is until I know for sure I have it. Don't want to jinx myself:) plus it gives me something to tell you when and if I do get it. 
I have still been keeping up with my Pilates 3 days a week and running with my sister and our German Shepherd 2 days a week. Plus I work out in my room every night before I go to bed. Believe it or not it helps me sleep better. I have dropped most of the weight I put on over the Holidays... yeah! I am still working on my vocals about 2-3 hours a day. With this schedule and school I have very little time for anything else. I have a few photo shoots coming up so I can update my portfolio :) Bye til' next time. 3/29/2009 Wow! I had an action packed last two weeks. Let me see I went to Glamis Sand Dunes and learned to ride a quad and drive a razr... sooo sooo much fun! 
I had a photo shoot in Malibu and it turned out great! I haven't got those pics back yet but it was a lot of fun. I have been on a few auditions. One was for a commercial and the other was for a video ... didn't get either one ... maybe next time :) The video was for Ashley Tisdale but they really wanted older girls than myself. I am on spring break right now so I will probably be doing some photo shoots and hopefully more auditions. I'm also still working out regularly because I truly believe that it keeps me well, especially since everyone else around me keeps getting sick :/. 4/14/2009 Hey everyone! Spring break was really busy for me. I had a photo shoot but I haven't gotten those pics yet... I'm supposed to have another one coming up on the April 25th. And then I have a BIG one on may 9th. That one is going to be on a ranch so I have to come up with 4 outfits that fits the theme. 
Here's some inside info on what a photo shoot is like for me. Most photographers let me decide what I want because the pics they take are to help with my portfolio as well as theirs. And a lot of times it's what the model is comfortable with. But I have had some that want mostly commercial shoots. Then I have to study magazines and poses and look at what they are wearing in the magazine picture and come up with a likeness. That is very challenging and fun it really makes my imagination work.Lately I have been mostly working on my music. I had to record a few songs to be considered for a song that is being written by another singer. I haven't really been told for sure that I'm the one but I'm in the running for it :) so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Not only could this be one of my big breaks but I love to sing -- it makes me happy:)
